Asher Lloyd Ehrenberg (they/them/theirs)  is thrilled to be back with the Yaya’s family! A theatre artist currently based in Southern California, some of Asher’s recent credits include: Dutchman, Imperceptible Mutabilities in the Third Kingdom, Billy & Ray, A Chorus Line, Hairspray, Spamalot, and Cabaret. Asher is a graduate of the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts and has since studied Musical Theatre at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles and New York City as well as Directing at Boston University. Recently, Asher served as a Production Assistant at Laguna Playhouse—under Director, Michael Matthews—and served as an Education and Outreach Intern at La Jolla Playhouse. Over the past 8 years, Asher has been a Teaching Artist at many different children’s theaters and training programs throughout Southern California. In their work, Asher aims to bring the stories of marginalized voices to the stage while challenging the social perspectives of an audience. As an educator, they intend to instill a sense of passion and encourage self expression in their students while providing them with intensive training to be exceptional, well-rounded artists on the stage and human beings in the world.
